Pulitzer winning musical NEXT TO NORMAL will stream online for a limited time this month!

TheaterWorks Hartford has announced May 5th-10th as "Next to Normal" week! The Pulitzer Prize winning Broadway musical by Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt was presented in 2017 and will be streaming on three occusions - from May 8th to 10th at 8PM EST. Due to rights restrictions TheaterWorks will have to limit the audience for this presentation. For details on how to stream the show, check our updating list of theater during the Coronavirus outbreak.

TheaterWorks will also include special bonus programs during the "Next to Normal" week - free of charge for the general public. On May 6th the company will air an exclusive conversation with composer Tom Kitt, at 7PM EST for a lengthy discussion about the Broadway musical. On May 6th, a free "Living Room" concert by John Cardoza (Gabe in Next to Normal) will stream online, finishing off with Christiane Noll on May 7th at 5PM EST.

On Friday, May 8th at 7PM EST, the entire cast of Next to Normal will be reunited and share memories form the show and the filming of it, right before the first airing of the musical. The musical will be available for single-ticket buyers and for TheaterWorks Hartford subscribers.
