Lincoln Center Theater unlocks Broadway musicals and plays for FREE streaming for a limited time

Update: List updated with 3 new shows announced today, May 12th!

Theatre fans, get ready! Following The National Theatre's free weekly stream from the UK, Lincoln Center Theater has announced "Broadway Fridays" - the launch of its own initiative to stream free musicals and plays from its archives and partners. A new show will stream every Friday at 8PM EDT for a limited time. Click here to view the updating list of free shows you can now stream though this initiative!

Over the years, Lincoln Center has filmed hundreds of musicals and plays, but only select few ever made it to public eye. LCT will start streaming their shows on Friday May 8th at 8PM EST through a special arrangement with BroadwayHD. The shows will be available each for one week, with some exceptions.

LCT's program "Live from Lincoln Center" has broadcast notable musicals and plays through PBS since 1976. The program airs every season with 6-10 new shows and includes operas, musicals, and plays. Funding for the series is currently made possible by major grants from the Robert Wood Johnson 1962 Charitable Trust, Thomas H. Lee and Ann Tenenbaum, the Robert and Renee Belfer Family Foundation, the MetLife Foundation, Mercedes T. Bass, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
