Numbering more than 320 classics, the library features many landmark performances including such seminal portrayals as Jason Robards' Hickey in The Iceman Cometh and Dame Judith Anderson's Medea. The library showcases such leading actors as Meryl Streep, Dustin Hoffman, Laurence Olivier, Robert Redford, Susan Sarandon, Kevin Kline, Richard Burton and many more artists recreating their acclaimed Broadway performances for television. Through digital restoration, The Broadway Theatre Archive is reintroducing these classics to a new generation, and keeping the theatre, and television's interpretation of it, thriving. The New York Times has deemed this extraordinary collection as "the crown jewels" of public and network television.
