Disney+ Removes Free Trial Ahead Of Hamilton Release

Disney+ has quietly stopped offering new subscribers a free seven-day trial earlier today. The free trial is no longer available in the United States and is expected to disappear from all locations by early next week. Here are all the details on Disney's move.

The decision comes right before Disney releases the most anticipated title in its new service - the Broadway production of Hamilton. Earlier today, Disney released exclusive photos from the filmed production that is expected to join the streaming service July 3rd.

“We continue to test and evaluate different marketing, offers, and promotions to grow Disney+. The service was set at an attractive price-to-value proposition that we believe delivers a compelling entertainment offering on its own” said a Disney Plus spokesperson in a statement to The Verge.
