"Light in the Piazza", "South Pacific" streaming soon for free? LFLC is "evaluating"
Sources close to Lincoln Center informed FilmedOnStage that "Live from Lincoln Center" is currently evaluating the possibility of releasing selections of their past shows for online streaming, for a strictly limited time. The productions that are currently being considered were all featured in recent years on Lincoln Center's PBS program "Live from Lincoln Center" and include: Act One, Falsettos, Pipeline, Norm Lewis: Who Am I?, Audra McDonald in Concert, South Pacific, Sinatra: Voice for a Century, and The Light in the Piazza. As most "Live from Lincoln Center" broadcasts were originally cleared for limited television showings only, streaming rights now have to be negotiated with each show separately. A final list of shows is expected to be released soon.
